Maximize Your Metabolism - Release Fat Burning Hormones

Learn to Maximize Your MetabolismDon’t Eat Less, Release Fat Burning Hormones
Have you tried to lose weight before? Have you always thought that the key to losing weight was eating less, and therefore taking in fewer calories than you burn? As it turns out, there is an easier way. Rather than eating fewer calories, you can eat in such a way that you trick your body into releasing fat burning hormones. These fat burning hormones will help you lose weight without eating less.

How Your Body Regulates Your Weight
When you eat, your body adjusts itself to burn the calories you eat. However, there is a lag. Therefore, the trick to release fat burning hormones is to eat so that your body thinks you are eating less than you are.

Hormones regulate everything in your body, not just your weight. They are the major players in controlling your metabolism, however. The hormones that regulate your metabolism are categorized as anabolic and non-anabolic hormones. Anabolic hormones control muscle growth and strength as well as your metabolism. These hormones are manufactured by a system of glands and organs known as the endocrine system.

The Most Important Fat Burning Hormones
There are four key hormones that regulate your metabolism, and if you want to lose weight, you need to manage these four: testosterone, human growth hormone, thyroxine, and epinephrine.

Anabolic Hormones
Testosterone is the most important male sex hormone. It is an anabolic hormone and grows muscle, but also controls metabolism. Although it is a male hormone, women produce it too. Human growth hormone is the other anabolic hormone. HGH grows lean muscle mass and regulates blood sugar and insulin. Make sure you get a good night’s sleep whenever possible because you produce HGH when you sleep.

Non-Anabolic Hormones
The other two, thyroxine and epinephrine, are not anabolic. Thyroxine is manufactured and distributed by the thyroid gland, and controls the metabolism and allows you to burn more calories Epinephrine is a product of the adrenal glands. It breaks down stored carbohydrates and fat for fuel. You may know it by its other name: adrenaline.

The most important factor in losing weight isn’t how much you eat or how many calories you take in. It’s whether or not you eat smart. Eating smart consists of eating to trick your body into burning more calories than you take in. Food is not your enemy. You can eat in a way to manipulate fat burning hormones rather than just trying to eat less, and lose weight.
